How to fit a home sauna in a Dubai apartment

Compact infrared sauna on a Dubai apartment balcony

You can install a sauna in most Dubai apartments. You need about 90 × 90 cm of floor, a 2-metre ceiling, a nearby power point and, in some buildings, management approval.

Pick the right heat

Infrared is the usual choice for apartments: no steam, no water, low running cost and a standard socket circuit. A compact traditional sauna such as Oud 2 also runs on 220V if you have a 150 × 120 cm space and want the Finnish ritual.

Where it can go

  • A spare bedroom or study
  • A large bathroom or dressing room
  • A covered balcony, away from direct rain

Getting it in

Our cabins arrive as panels, so they fit through standard apartment doors and lifts. We check the route, lift size and delivery times with your building before installation day.

Renting?

Freestanding cabins can be taken down and moved with you. Ask your landlord first, and we can provide specification sheets to support the request.
